feeding mommies, how would/do you deal with this?

I've recently decided to feed my son past a year, up to two years, or just let self wean more then likely, and I keep getting the same comment from all my relatives, and I'm starting to get mad, they all keep saying "Well make you sure pump it after a year, you can't keep feeding from the that long" (But pumping doesn't even work well all the time for me) My own husbands being annoying about it, A.) He's told his mom and g-mom that I only plan on bfing 6mnth to 1 yr, now I dont know if he's being forgetful, or doesn't wanna hear their criticism, and B.) anytime I bring up the extended feeding, he just shrugs off the conversation like he doesn't wanna hear it! I'm honestly starting to get upset over the lack of support for this from my family, what should I do to make them either, more comfortable with it, or just make them shut up in general? I know I sound like a b**** about this, but I'm getting very annoyed w/their commentary.
