How bad is it to have a relationship with a married man although he confirmed that he no longer loves his wife?

he said its the kids and the marital papers that keep him going home.i am single and i do love him.he told me he doesnt care for his wife anymore. and vice versai know i shouldnt have loved him but it js happened.he said he will file an annulment but i did not see any eagerness on him.
