My cousin has a Weird shaped pupil?

When I was visiting family for Christmas vacation I noticed my 8 year old cousin has an odd shaped pupil. It's circular except part of the color from his iris goes into the pupil so it kinda looks heart or pacman shaped. His vision is not at all affected but they dont have Heath care so they can't go to the doctor any info would be great
