My friend is ruining my chances with this guy! HELP!?

I asked my friend, S , on Sunday if she knew anyone from this one school and she said she knew this guy, J, and he was texting her alot. So I was like can u ask J if he knows D that I met during this leadership thing in summer. S was like alright so she asked J and he asked 4 my name and I told S not to tell him. Then this morning my best friend E comes up and tells me she heard S and this other girl M talking in cl yesterday about D and how D thought that the unknown girl (me) who thinks he's hot is actually M! M has a bf though and she doesn't like D even though they have texted but nothing 2 flirty cuz she's been w/ her bf for like a year. Anyways I guess S is also texting D (but she said they texted like once or twice but still) and like that bugs me cuz S is flirty and stuff and I don't need her flirting w/ the person who I could potentially like! I asked S today to text D and tell him my name and like to find me on MySpace and she's like "why u already told me b4 not 2 tell him yr name so if i tell him now he'll be like wtf" but i don't think that's the reason, i think it's cuz she wants 2 talk 2 him 2 boost her ego knowing she talks 2 lots of guys and now him. My bff E told me it's shady of her and that it wasn't good. My other friend N who goes 2 the same school as D gave me D's number like 2 months ago but i didn't save it cuz i didn't wanna randomly call and have him think I was wack. But now idk if I should get D's number from N cuz like it's the last resort cuz D idk if he has a MySpace/Facebook cuz I looked for him already and found nothing. What do I do? Do I ask my friend to just tell him and show him a pic of me or do I just ask my friend N for his # and call on my own (i don't have texting). Oh & btw my other friend JS told me she'd text him for me w/ hre phone but i don't want him being confused thinking he's talking 2 me on my # when it's really her # so yeah what do i do?
